OpenFOAM on macOS

OpenFOAM 14 is a major new release of OpenFOAM. It is packaged for Ubuntu 22.04, 24.04 and 26.04. OpenFOAM runs within macOS using Canonical Multipass hosting Ubuntu Linux. (Similarly, OpenFOAM runs within Windows using its Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) hosting Ubuntu Linux.) Multipass will automatically select Ubuntu packages for arm64 architecture with Apple Silicon to give best performance.
